We’re commissioned by a wonderfully diverse range of clients: food producers looking for food photography services to help their products stand out online and on shelves; beauty brands who want imagery for greater engagement on Instagram; new product releases to be captured in their best light; events needing expert coverage; fashion brands showing off their best fit; and jewellery and watch brands wanting a bit more sparkle.
Budget isn’t everything, and you’ll see us trying to stretch what you have to fit your needs and reach your goals. We’re here to build a strong working relationship where you want to come back to us time and again, because you trust what we can deliver.
We have now opened our brand new photography studio in London Waterloo, which gives us a great space to base our photography services from and makes booking new projects easier than ever.
We try to make the consultation process for our photography services as simple as possible, balancing the need to understand what your requirements are, with the fact that you’re probably time-poor and want the core information as quickly as possible.
Quoting is relatively easy, as we charge based on time and resources rather than per image, which is much harder to pre-judge, and can often be poor value.
You can book us for as little as one hour – with which, we can work remotely. This is ideal when you might need a handful of simple images for a promotion or to add a new range to a website, for example.
We’ll then offer either half day or full day slots, with full pre-planning consultation as you might expect from a professional provider of photography services, and can help with props, backgrounds, locations and models where required. We have numerous shoot location options as well: from shooting remotely in our own space, to our partner studios, and we also come to you.
We like to think we have a solution to satisfy most challenges!
We shoot on high resolution Nikon cameras, capable of delivering clean, crisp imagery with acres of detail. These are partnered with professional lenses and lighting equipment, to complete the Pocket Creatives photography services package.
Our lens options include Nikon’s two workhorse focal length ranges, from 24-70mm and 70-200mm and we support those with a macro lens for close-up work and an ultra wide that gets us as wide as 12mm for dramatic wide angles. Most photographers will tell you how important lighting is, and has the abilty to make or break a single shot.
We use both studio lighting and portable battery powered flash, which allows us to shoot in all locations, with modifiers helping us to tailor the characteristics of the light to suit.
Post-prodution is completed through a combination of Adobe Raw and Photoshop.
We have the vast majority of what we need to provide these awesome photography services in house, from shoot planning, sourcing models and locations – through production, image processing, QC and delivery.
Our wonderful studio in London Waterloo gives us an amazing set of spaces to work from, with our lab set aside for simple product work and our full size space for more complex proejcts.
We use strategic partners to support us, from talent directories, to specialist equipment hire, locations and more.
You’ll also find some of our recommended suppliers here who provide everything from agency services to digital, design and web services.

What They Say:
“The Pocket Creatives team really helped us achieve our vision and worked solidly and enthusiastically throughout the day. We had ideas of what we wanted, and they used their expertise to make that happen. An absolute delight to work with and would highly recommend, thrilled with the photos and they have transformed our brand imagery”
Tanya Shah, Urban Veda
“Working with Pocket Creatives was a pleasure from start to finish. Steven handled our project with exceptional care and understood the intricacies of our brief. His team worked extremely collaboratively with ourselves and at no point did we feel misinformed. His approach is incredibly good value for money and the result was beyond my expectation. I will certainly work with Pocket Creatives in the future..”
Paul Lumley, Larsson & Jennings
“This was our first range, our first shoot, our first everything. We’ve invested a lot of time and money into every aspect of launching Persistence as a brand, and we feel we have achieved the right visuals to help us grow from nothing into something.”
Andrew Bisson, Persistence London
“Steven has consistently delivered high quality, interesting photographs for multiple story-telling/people centred projects. He instinctively knows how to keep an audience engaged through a series of images that really tell a story. He goes out of his way to get to grips with the brief and is professional, reliable and friendly. But more importantly, he has the vision to get the most out of every opportunity – whether it’s an unexpected environment or a straight forward corporate head-shot. I don’t hesitate in recommending him and hope to continue to work with him in the future.”
Dominique Mallion, Philips
“A pleasure to work with the Pocket Creatives team. They helped us to fully define what images we wanted and made it fun on the day to capture them all. Highly recommended!”
Mary Bateman, Twisting Spirits
“Steven and his team were very patient with my little superstars! My cats are photographed every day by customers and it can be very tricky to get them looking at the camera, as the usual sounds, clicks and toys don’t work for them like other cats – they’ve seen every trick in the book! The only way to get a really great shot of my guys is to have a bond with them, and for them to trust you. Steven put in extra days to put the cats at ease and make sure he got the perfect photos, and we’re really delighted with the results: cheeky Alice, smug Donnie and wide-eyed Wookie. They’re all there, being themselves and looking fabulous!”
Lauren Nixon, Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium
