Our event video production services are ever-popular with our clients.
Events form a big part of our offering, and we have covered everything from book launches and food festivals, to celebrations, business gatherings, PR launches and conferences. Our most prestigious event video production commission was for the Telegraph STEM Awards where we covered the full ceremony, with interviews and cutaways in London’s Heron Tower.
We utilise multiple camera setups during our event video production projects for a greater range of angles, coverage and visual interest, which makes for a more vibrant edit.

Event video production at Pocket can be easily scaled from single camera quick-fire videography which might generate a short highlights piece, up to more complex deliverables with stabilised motion shots, slow motion and vox pop interviews for the most vibrant end results.

London Cats use us for their yearly expo’s, which as you might guess is filled with cats (try getting us out of there on time!). For the Telegraph, we provide full video coverage of their annual STEM awards, which was hosted by the wonderful Rachel Riley. We also had a cracking time with Gym Plus Coffee at their 2022 Summer Social and are hoping for a repeat invite again this year!
A great example
Unsurprisingly, we’ll choose one of our longest standing clients as a great example of how we work on event video production projects: Bread and Jam. We started working with Bread and Jam over 4 years ago and cover their wonderful food and drink producers festivals with event video production and photography services too, completing a range of deliverables in the process. The most rewarding aspects of this are getting to know the attendees and working hard each year to better ourselves.
We’ve tried to make the commissioning process for event video production services as easy and digestible as possible. We’ll discuss your brief in detail prior to filming which will allow us to understand the full scope of what you’re trying to achieve. We can either quote from the ground-up or work to a pre-set budget – we know everyone will have different spending requirements and limitations, and we do our best to accommodate that budget when providing event video production services.
Once we know what we need to deliver at the end of your event video production project, we’ll finalise the creative approach with you, organise the dates and capture your footage. The edit process almost always takes longer than production, so we’ll allow for multiple days of work to include time for review and changes. We’ll deliver digital online viewing copies in the run-up to sign-off, but you’re also welcome to join us if you’d rather edit in person.
The beauty of working with video is the options available, and we can usually scale the event video production services we provide up or down to find the best quality and budget fit.
For techy readers, we shoot using the latest Panasonic cameras, from the new S1H series. They use some of the latest imaging technology, meaning that they produce exceptional images and respond better than most in challenging lighting conditions. This forms the centrepiece of our video production services, and will allow us up to 6K in resolution and higher quality slow motion.
We complement the cameras with our range of fast lenses to make the best of the full frame sensor. We have super sharp primes, flexible zooms and macro abilities for high quality at all focal lengths.
In addition, we have upgraded clients to work with RED, Blackmagic, Canon C Series and Kinefinity Mavo cameras where we have needed to provide bespoke solutions. These have enabled capture up to 6K with greater detail and higher impact slow motion capabilities.
As standard, we come with sound and lighting, and a number of creative options such as slider movements, gimbals, GoPros and more can be added on.
We have the vast majority of what we need to provide quality event video production services in house, right from pre-production, planning, scripting, talent and location sourcing – through to production, edit, QC and delivery.
Our studio space in London Waterloo gives us a great base to handle event video productions in-house too.
