Bryony is new to the team, but has already established herself as a crucial part of our super-slick organisation at Pocket Cratives… or should that be, now that she’s part of the team we’re closer than ever to being super-slick!
You’ll meet Bryony while planning your project, and supporting the completion of your shoot with Pocket Creatives. She’ll very often be juggling props, backgrounds, ingredients and packets of product!
What do you do in your role?
The nature of my role at pocket Creatives is always expanding and changing to accommodate the needs of the team. If I’m in the office then I am connecting with clients, project planning, marketing, image processing, and manning our social media accounts, sometimes all at the same time! This can take a lot of energy, and copious amounts of coffee!
Otherwise I’m assisting on shoots and trying to learn as much as I can about all things photography and video related.
What do you actually do?
Say yes to everything! If anyone needs help then I am the one to give support. Bridging the gap between all our services means I have to be ready and willing to turn my hand at absolutely anything that the Pocket Creatives team or clients need, from assisting on shoots to image processing, project planning and beyond.
I am also a human encyclopaedia of all the shoots Pocket Creatives have ever done. Go on, ask me about them.
What do your team think you do?
Spend all day scrolling through my phone and harassing them for behind the scene photos. It’s all part of making sure Pocket Creatives keeps an engaging and persistent online presence, I promise!
Most embarrassing story?
I haven’t had a chance to properly embarrass myself yet. Give it time, the moment will come.
What’s your favourite thing about your job?
Creating with a bunch of like-minded and inspiring individuals daily isn’t a bad way to spend my days!
What keeps you motivated?
My motivation comes from the diversity of the job. Because at Pocket Creatives we don’t confine ourselves to one specific area of photography or video I am constantly learning, adapting and challenging myself.
Most annoying habit?
Taking my sarcasm too far, I don’t know if everyone always understands it!
What are you happiest doing when you’re not working?
Give me a coffee and a walk around town and I’m happy.
